This was a quick read and it made a lot of sense! I think Starr has a fresh perspective that hasn't been shared. I liked that her points weren't the typical points you may hear! I 100% would recommend this to any person! Although it's probably more geared to a single person, I think anyone can learn from it!Product details

Starr shared a lot from her own life and so it feels like you're sitting at lunch and she's giving you advice from her own experiences about the dating/single life. She talks a lot about how women are often waiting for the "perfect" man... and then challenges your "perfect". It's really good common sense. If you are a single Christian woman, who knows God's love, and it looks like you aren't getting married anytime soon - though you totally want to - this book is for you. **Even if you have a boyfriend but you feel unsettled - this book is for you.
As a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, marriage ministry leader, mentor to single women of all ages, and former single woman myself; I give it 5 stars all around. This book is easy to read and very relatable as Starr incorporates transparency from her own struggles and revelations as well as those of her close friends. This book is a must-read for every single woman who has questioned her singleness, and wondered what to do and where to go next. I suggest using this book as a tool for personal development, healing, self-exploration, and practical application through an intentional and prayerful journey.
Starr gives invaluable insight on dating, marriage and singleness in today's culture. Get ready for some honest self-assessment as Starr asks "the tough questions", but also provides thoughtful advice as to how to find a partner. You'll be challenged, but you'll also have clarity on "next steps" to take on your dating journey. I'd recommend this book for men and women alike. Her guidance, perspective, and advice is needed for singles today. Hopefully there will be "Ineligible Bachlorette" workbook and we'll be seeing Starr on the speaking circuit soon!

This was my favorite quote out of the book. It doesn't just apply to "finding the one," it applies to all areas of life on a daily basis.
If you are still searching and seeking or even just going through life being "okay" with being single, but yet have the desire to get married one day, this book is for you. I was once there, and I married someone I wasn't looking for and I am so glad that I did. 8 years and two kids later, we are still growing, still learning, and still enjoying our marriage.
Great book with valuable insight for anyone that is single and dating. Even as a person in a committed relationship, it had several great points i wish i would have thought about and or dug into while i was single. It has given me great food for thought and i enjoyed reading it. It allows one to do some real soul searching and figure out what is God's will for my life, and am I allowing things to happen his way? It is directed at Christian women who are dating or single but could easily be applied towards men as well. Anyone who is in the church has a true desire to find love and the pressure is on! This book has great info and insight no matter what stage of life you are in!
I loved how practical the book was. Each step is easily achievable. A great read for single ladies that aren’t sure what the next step should be.
I loved this book - surprised I haven't heard about it more in Christian circles. I've read it twice now, it's a quick read. The author's advice is a 'rip off the bandaid' type of reality check that's helped me greatly in evaluating why I'm attracted to certain types of people and why I find others unattractive, sometimes unjustifiably. The author really gets at the root of common fears women have in dating. I didn't relate to every example, but the heart of the book is so compelling I still gave it 5 stars. As a 30-something, I really needed this kind of advice years ago!!! If you've got friends sifting through online dating profiles who are never finding anyone 'interesting' or 'good enough', or just writing men off with a weird list of petty flaws, this would be a great read for them, too! The bottom line what do you REALLY want in a significant other? If you can answer that, you can finally start looking with a clear conscience and an open heart/mind.
